Super Software for RI Pawnbrokers
PPSS Intro is a simple software program for processing and recording pawn transactions. Everything including pawn tickets, price labels and reports are printed with an office printer. All editions of the program are military-compliant.
The next-higher program (PPSS Deluxe) organizes inventory using categories. Fees and interest can be assigned per category. It can be used for buying and selling new and used merchandise. This edition also include check cashing, payday and title loans and layaways.
The Diamond edition of Pawnbroker Pawn Shop Software supports networking - connecting multiple computers to the same database and allowing simultaneous use. Cash drawers, barcode scanners and thermal receipt and labels printers are supported. Pictures of items and clients can be saved on the computer and recalled from within the program. employees individually can be stopped from accessing any data and can be blocked from voiding sales and discounting at POS.
The 24karat version of the software supports electronic fingerprinting and signatures. Drivers licenses can be scanned to populate the new-client record. A webcam can be used to for picture taking.
You may have already discovered that the highest prices for pawn software are the hardest to find. Vendors with big price tags purposely avoid using websites to disclose answers to the most common question, "How much does it cost?".
Of course the strategy is to get us cornered in a lengthy sales pitch over the phone as to why they think we should pay them $10,000 over the coming months to use their programs.
